Downtown Atlanta is truly representative of the cityÿs logo ? the phoenix. For many years, the downtown area was simply a place to work and people left for the suburbs at the end of the workday. However, the 1996 Olympics helped spur re-development and downtown has risen from the proverbial ashes to become and a rich and exciting place to live, work, and play.
In concert with established destinations, such as CNN Center, Philips Arena, and the Georgia World Congress Center, there are new and exciting venues, which include the amazing Georgia Aquarium, the new World of Coke Museum (currently under construction adjacent to the aquarium), and the Childrenÿs Museum.
